Imperative Care Releases Ikon 24 Pro Neurovascular Guidewire

Imperative Care has rolled out Ikon 24 Pro, its next-generation neurovascular guidewire for vascular access during aspiration thrombectomy procedures for stroke.

According to the Campbell, California-based company, guidewire features the first uniform length 0.024” wire. The design of its transitional shaft matches the company’s Zoom catheters and tactile feedback enhancements reportedly help with intuitive handling and real-time control.

These features are meant to enhance the aspiration thrombectomy procedure. The stroke treatment system is built on the Zoom 0.088” intracranial access tech’s combination of proximal arch support and distal flexibility for tortuous neurovasculature.

When paired with Zoom, Imperative Care expects that Ikon 24 Pro can help boost procedural speed and efficiency.
