Getinge Releases Aquadis Endo 110 for Automated Endoscope Reprocessing

Getinge has launched Aquadis Endo 110, a next-gen, automated endoscope reprocessor designed to increase processing capacity, simplify workflows, and boost safety for patients and healthcare professionals.

The company said the reprocessor sets a new benchmark for fast, reliable cleaning and high-level disinfections of flexible endoscopes to help reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infections. The reprocessor was also released to address the increased operational demands on endoscopy departments due to rising procedure volumes.

It increases throughput by up to 36% compared to previous models. A standard cycle time of 20 minutes and automated channel connection enables quicker scope availability while providing validated cleaning and high-level disinfection.

Aquadis Endo 110 merges ergonomic, error-proof loading and an intuitive user interface. Integrated RFID tech automated program selection and ensures full traceability for every cycle, the company said. It connects with Getinge’s FleetView and T-DOC Endo solutions for real-time access to essential info.

The company also developed a highly concentrated XEN detergent and disinfectant formulations specifically for use with Aquadis Endo 110. These allow shorter cycles and less water consumption so hospitals can manage resources and reach sustainability goals.
