Getinge and Philips have teamed up to provide hospitals with an integrated anesthesia workstation for the operating room. The solution merges precise anesthesia delivery and patient monitoring.

The integrated anesthesia workstation combines Getinge’s Flow Family anesthesia machines and Philips IntelliVue patient monitoring technology.

“This partnership represents a shared commitment to improving OR efficiency and patient care, and we see great value in collaborating with Philips,” said Juergen Kelch, senior director commercial operations Critical Care at Getinge. “This integration of two core medical devices supports high quality, sustainable and efficient care through real-time insights. With seamless connectivity and familiar user interfaces, the workstation reduces complexity and helps clinicians focus on their patients.”

The two technologies were designed for connectivity and communicate in a unified language, enabling smooth exchange of data across systems.

The duo said the integrated solution is engineered for teamwork—all components work in harmony to support clinical teams and simplify operations. Users also have a single point of contact for both monitoring and anesthesia, streamlining service, training, and support.

“Our partnership with Getinge is a response to evolving OR needs,” said Brian Bell, business category leader, Enterprise Hospital Monitoring at Philips. By bringing together the best of two worlds, we provide a complete, connected, and clinician-friendly solution, which also offers the flexibility to unlock a complete patient view across hospital care areas and departments.”
