GE HealthCare revealed it will feature its latest enterprise imaging solutions at this year’s Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) annual meeting. The company said it’s developing these solutions to boost workflow efficiency so clinicians can spend more time with patients.

The company will integrate Pace and Balance—a tool that leverages predictive analytics to increase reading capacity—into its True PACS and Centricity PACS. The technology hopes to foster equal radiology case distribution to balance workload against exam reading capacity and promote case assignment fairness.

“Radiologists are eager for the latest tools to keep up with an ever-increasing case load,” said Scott Miller, CEO of GE HealthCare’s Enterprise Imaging Solutions. “As GE HealthCare takes the lead on natively integrating Pace and Balance as part of our portfolio, we continue our commitment to deliver enterprise imaging solutions to help improve radiologists’ workflow efficiency while providing better patient care.”
