GE HealthCare, Tampa General Hospital Fortify Long-Term Partnership

GE HealthCare and Tampa General Hospital (TGH) announced they have expanded their long-term partnership.

TGH and GE HealthCare have been collaborating since their first strategic agreement in 2019. The relationship has enabled successful implementations like the CareComm command center with GE HealthCare’s Command Center software and a capital refresh plan for imaging tech solutions.
 
The duo began a new agreement to deploy GE HealthCare’s imaging and ultrasound tech to benefit clinicians and patients in TGH Imaging’s outpatient facilities across Florida.
 
TGH Imaging offers advanced radiology services in outpatient settings at 21 locations in several counties in Florida. Their team has over 65 board-certified radiologists with certifications in all 11 radiology subspecialties and participate in academic missions of research and teach.
 
GE HealthCare said its imaging technologies will allow TGH Imaging radiologists to offer faster, more accurate diagnosis and better treatment planning.

In March 2023, TGH Imaging became the first in Florida to install the company’s Omni Legend digital PET/CT system.
