FDA Okays Updated Kensey Nash System

Kensey Nash has received FDA approval for its next generation TriActiv FX embolic protection system, according to the Associated Press.
   After receiving the approval on July 12, the Exton, PA-based company was expected to launch it as soon as possible.
   The TriActiv product is designed to prevent material or debris, dislodged during stent procedures to clear blocked arteries, from embolizing downstream and causing adverse coronary events such heart attacks.
