Diality Names New Chief Technology Officer

Ravi Parthasarathy most recently worked for ICU Medical.

Diality Inc. has welcomed a new member to its executive team, recruiting Ravi Parthasarathy to the firm as chief technology officer.

Parthasarathy has decades of product development team leadership experience, most recently with ICU Medical, where he worked as vice president of Device Engineering. Prior to ICU Medical, he served in leadership and product development roles for Baxter Healthcare, Motorola, Siemens Medical Systems, and General Motors.
 
Parthasarathy earned his bachelor of science degree from Andhra University, India, his masters of science degree from Dalhousie University in Canada, and his MBA from the University of Chicago.

As Diality continues to evolve, Clayton Poppe will assume the role of chief scientific officer; he will oversee the company’s research, quality, and regulatory functions.
 
Diality’s Moda-flx Hemodialysis System is a patient-inspired hemodialysis system designed to empower healthcare professionals to choose the best kidney disease treatment for patients, as well as their clinical practice. The Moda-fix System is not currently approved for sale in any region. It is designed to allow healthcare professionals to choose the right hemodialysis prescription in any care setting and a water/dialysate-generation option. Featuring an interface that is easy to learn and use, the Moda-fix System can correct factors that can lead to a reduction in the expected flow rate compared to the manufacturers’ stated accuracy at high blood flow rates.
