CTTC and BiCOM Join Forces for Marketing Strategy

Strategy will broaden customer base.

Competitive Technologies, Inc. (CTTC) has struck up a marketing agreement with Long Beach, New York-based BiCOM, Inc. which allows CTTC to sell BiCOM’s patented products in the United States and various international markets.

“This partnership is positive for both of us,” said Aris Despo, executive vice president of CTTC. “Working with BiCOM allows us to offer medical products to our domestic and international channels that will add revenue growth opportunities in niche markets for our sales representatives, our distributors and for CTTC.”

CTTC will offer BiCOM’s Diaton tonometer, which allows intraocular pressure for glaucoma to be measured through the eyelid, without anesthesia or direct contact with the eyeball. Internationally, CTTC will offer the Magnetic Therapy DIATON for magnetic therapy.

“Joining forces with CTTC is a natural progression for BiCOM, where complementary skills, national and international connections and unique product offerings will make this strategic relationship a power house with many growth opportunities,” said Roman Iospa, CEO of BiCOM Inc.

According to Despo, CTTC and BiCOM also will likely work together to expand sales of BiCOM’s Calmare Scrambler to Russia and other foreign markets where BiCOM has an established distribution.

“We will continue to evaluate new opportunities which enhance CTTC’s value by fulfilling identified unmet needs in the marketplace,” Despo said.
