Creganna has acquired Tactx Medical Inc. for an undisclosed amount, according to the Galway, Ireland-based firm. The company’s new name is Creganna-Tactx Medical.

The company will focus on technology and services for minimally invasive delivery and access devices.

Creganna is a supplier of products, technologies and services to medical device and life-science companies. It specializes in the design and manufacture of minimally invasive delivery and access devices for a range of therapies.

Tactx Medical Inc is a full-service provider of technologies and services for medical device companies. The company specializes in delivery systems and high-end catheters for minimally invasive therapies, with capabilities in engineering and pilot manufacturing services.
