Cobalt Polymers Partners with HnG Medical

Cobalt Polymers, a manufacturer of heat shrink tubing for the medical device industry, has entered an exclusive, multi-year agreement with HnG Medical Inc. to distribute its tubing products in Asia. The agreement will allow Cobalt to better serve its OEM customers in Asia with local representation and local access to tubing samples and inventory.
 
HnG will represent Cobalt Polymers in China, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. The company also represents other US and European component suppliers and equipment manufacturers in the Asian market. 
 
“This partnership is a natural next step in Cobalt’s growth and expansion,” said Barry Schnur, interim CEO of Cobalt Polymers. “With the opening of our new manufacturing facility in Northern California, we have plenty of capacity, making this the perfect time to expand our footprint in Asia.” 
 
“We’re excited about this opportunity to represent Cobalt Polymers products in Asia,” said William Zhong, co-founder and president of HnG. “Heat shrink tubing is still quite a unique product in China, so there’s significant opportunity for growth in this and other Asian markets.” 
 
Customers will be able to work with HnG Medical as a technical sales liaison for Cobalt Polymers or purchase directly from HnG in their country for more convince in shipping or other logistics.
