Cinova Medical Acquires Elastomer Technologies Inc. (ETI)

ETI specializes in injection, transfer, and compression molding, complemented by elastomeric die-cutting services.

Cinova Medical has acquired Elastomer Technologies Inc. (ETI), a custom molder of liquid silicone rubber (LSR) and high-consistency gum rubbers service the medical device and life sciences markets.

Southern California-based ETI will continue operations from its current facility while Cinova finished expanding a new Class 8 cleanroom dedicated to silicone molding. Once completed, ETI’s manufacturing operations will be integrated into Cinova’s expanded production footprint.

Cinova has acquired three separate manufacturing businesses in Phoenix, Ariz. since 2023 in order to strengthen its position as a vertically integrated contract manufacturing organization (CMO). The company supports the Arizona initiative of becoming a top 10 life science state.

“Phoenix is leading the way in bioscience and medical manufacturing innovation,” Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego said. “Cinova Medical’s expansion strengthens our growing bioscience sector while helping deliver high quality, lifesaving technologies to patients around the world.”

ETI is headquartered in Corona, Calif. and is an ISO 13485:2016-certified company that supports medical device manufacturers with molded and over-molded components. The company specializes in injection, transfer, and compression molding, complemented by elastomeric die-cutting services.

Cinova is headquartered in Phoenix, Ariz. and is a vertically integrated contract manufacturer of injection-molded and machined components, as well as complex Class II finished medical devices. Its customers vary from early-stage medical device startups to large medical technology companies.
