Bimba Manufacturing Closes Deal on Pneumadyne Acquisition

University Park, Ill.-based Bimba Manufacturing Company, provider of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric solutions, has completed its acquisition of Pneumadyne Inc. Headquartered in Plymouth, Minn., Pneumadyne has been a manufacturer of pneumatic components and control systems for more than 35 years. The company’s products are used for fluid control by various industries globally.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“This acquisition reflects Bimba’s ongoing commitment to developing capabilities that address customer needs,” said Pat Ormsby, president of Bimba. “Adding Pneumadyne’s specialty products provides strategic value in our key industries and reflects our long-term commitment to growth. We fully expect this transaction will strengthen Bimba and complement our product offerings.”

This acquisition is an opportunity for Pneumadyne to expand upon its own reputation for service and quality. The company will continue to operate in its present location.

Bimba provides pneumatic, hydraulic and electric actuators, valves, fittings, air preparation and a range of safety and production solutions.
