Hello Heart has appointed healthcare industry veteran Bill Otten as commercial president, reporting to Co-Founder/CEO Maayan Cohen.

Otten joins the company following another recent key hire—renowned cardiologist Jayne Morgan, M.D., as vice president, Medical Affairs. Together with Hello Heart’s executive team, the pair aims to advance the company’s mission of improving human heart health.

Otten joins Hello Heart with a wealth of experience in healthcare technology, having successfully scaled several companies in the space, including Clearwave, where he grew revenue to more than $750 million as chief revenue officer. He also led sales at ADP for 14 years across multiple successful market divisions.

“Bill brings the exact skill set and expertise we need to push Hello Heart’s business into its next stage of growth in order to reach its highest potential,” Cohen said. “We are excited to work with Bill in scaling Hello Heart to bring our preventive heart health platform to every American who needs it.”

Dr. Morgan, a cardiologist and healthcare thought leader with more than 20 years of clinical experience, will help lead Hello Heart’s Medical Affairs team. Her dedication to health equity and preventive care has shaped her career, which includes leadership positions at Piedmont Healthcare and major research contributions focused on women’s heart health.

“With Dr. Morgan and Bill on board to help lead our growth and clinical strategies, Hello Heart is well-positioned to become the leading heart health solution for health plans and private and public sector employers,” Cohen stated.

An estimated 122 million Americans (nearly half of U.S. adults) have high blood pressure—the top heart attack and stroke risk factor; consequently, employers and health plans need a proven solution to support their members’ health and lower the increasing costs of heart attack and stroke care. Hello Heart’s connected heart health monitor and mobile app offer personalized tracking and AI-driven digital coaching, representing a scalable solution for managing heart health risk factors and improving clinical and financial outcomes.

Otten is based in Atlanta and earned an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Morgan is also based in Atlanta and received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
