Beacon MedTech Solutions has appointed Phil Littlefield as the new director of operations, effective immediately. Littlefield will lead Beacon MedTech’s operations organization to develop new processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and implement best practices to further accelerate customer timelines, quality, and efficiency.

“I am excited to join a contract manufacturing organization with such unparalleled experience, capabilities, and facilities. The Beacon MedTech team is incredibly smart and talented, and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work with these individuals to deliver vertically integrated solutions to companies in need of technology-forward manufacturing solutions,” Littlefield said. “I’m eager to support Beacon MedTech’s diverse customer base with best-in-class operations and manufacturing processes to deliver custom-engineered precision components and assemblies.”

Littlefield joins the organization to oversee operations, focusing on meeting evolving customer needs through cross-team collaboration and operating within Beacon MedTech’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. He will support continued diversification and growth by aligning people and resources to meet the needs of companies in Medical, Bio-Pharma, Life Sciences, Aerospace, Defense, and more.

“We are excited to have Phil join the Beacon MedTech team given his strong leadership and technical background in highly regulated markets,” said Jim Colony, President of Beacon MedTech Solutions. “I look forward to seeing the impact Phil will make on operational efficiencies and on our customers.”

Littlefield has over 15 years of experience in operations and leadership development. Previously, he held positions at J-PAC Medical, GI Supply, Sunny Delight Beverages Co., and Garelick Farms.

In these roles, Littlefield gained experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Lean manufacturing operations, and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliance through Current Good Manufacturing Processes (CGMP). He will apply this expertise to support Beacon MedTech’s ability to streamline operations processes, increase productivity, and manage complexities for its customers.
