Accumold Makes Trio of Changes to Its C-Suite

The company hired Gordon Davis as COO, promoted Paul Runyan to chief sales officer, and promoted Scott Canfield to CFO.

Precision micro molding company Accumold announced a series of leadership appointments and promotions within the company.

The Ankeny, Iowa-based company appointed Gordon Davis as its chief operating officer (COO). Accumold promoted Paul Runyan to chief sales officer and Scott Canfield to chief financial officer (CFO), as well.

Davis recently joined the company as COO, bringing over 20 years of manufacturing leadership experience. He spent the last two years supporting production at an advanced manufacturing facility in Iowa. His new role will entail focus on operational execution and continuous improvement, working closely withe teams to bolster performance, resilience, and readiness.

Newly promoted chief sales officer Paul Runyan has worked at Accumold for over 15 years. He led the company’s global sales team throughout that time.

“I am pleased to announce that Paul Runyan has been promoted to CSO,” Roger Hargens, CEO of Accumold said in a press release. “Paul has demonstrated great leadership in driving our business forward over the past 15 years. His customer relationship skills and teamwork have been a real plus for Accumold as we are set to grow significantly over the next several years.”

Scott Canfield, the newly promoted CFO, has spent nine years with the company and held multiple roles of increasing responsibility in the accounting department.

“I am pleased to announce that Scott Canfield has been promoted to CFO,” added Hargens. “Scott has done a great job for Accumold over the past nine years in all areas of his responsibilities and has continually taken on more. Scott’s ability to collaborate with other leaders here at Accumold is a real plus.”
