WHOOP has launched a new line of targeted blood tests designed to deliver deeper insight into specific areas of health. As part of the company’s Advanced Labs offering, Specialized Panels—powered exclusively by Quest Diagnostics in the United States—allow WHOOP members to take blood biomarker testing further, focusing on the categories that matter most to their individual goals.

Specialized Panels are one-time, domain-specific blood tests designed to delve deeper into key health areas, analyzing between 75 and 89 biomarkers across five panels: Heart Health, Performance, Metabolic Health, Women’s Health, and Men’s Health. Each panel is available for a one-time purchase of $299, is FSA/HSA eligible, and does not require a subscription or initial Comprehensive Health Panel.

“The response we’ve seen since launching Advanced Labs has been exceptional,” said Alex Vannoni, head of Healthcare Product at WHOOP. “Specialized Panels allow us to take the experience further. We’re empowering our members to choose more bespoke panels that address areas of interest or concern.”

WHOOP first entered the blood biomarker space last year with the launch of Advanced Labs, which combined blood biomarker testing with continuous wearable data to create a unified view of health. Specialized Panels represent the next evolution of that platform, giving members the flexibility to move from a broad understanding to targeted optimization.

Since the launch of Advanced Labs, WHOOP members have gained a deeper, data-driven understanding of their health at the biomarker level. Early data shows that even among a highly active population, 22% exhibit signs of metabolic dysfunction and nearly 30% have underlying cardiometabolic risk factors, often without prior awareness—underscoring the need for more focused, domain-specific insights.

All blood testing for Specialized Panels is performed by Quest Diagnostics, with members able to schedule a blood draw at Quest’s roughly 2,000 U.S. patient service centers. Members can select a panel based on their focus area, complete a blood draw, and receive results directly in the WHOOP app. All tests are reviewed and ordered by a licensed healthcare provider.

Results are integrated with continuous WHOOP data—including sleep, strain, and recovery—and translated into personalized insights, clinician-reviewed summaries, and clear, actionable recommendations. This creates a powerful feedback loop between targeted biomarker data and daily behavior, according to the company.

Together with the WHOOP Advanced Labs Comprehensive Panel, these offerings connect lab testing with continuous biometric data, giving members a deeper and more actionable understanding of their health.

WHOOP delivers a wearable membership to help people live healthier, longer lives. Through a 24/7 wearable with a 14-day battery life, WHOOP provides intelligent health guidance across sleep, recovery, strain, fitness, and longevity. The health platform includes a U.S. Food and Drug Administration-cleared ECG, a Healthspan longevity feature, Blood Pressure Insights, and Advanced Labs blood biomarker analysis. Research shows that people who wear WHOOP daily log more than 90 additional minutes of exercise per week, sleep two extra hours, and have 10% higher heart rate variability. WHOOP was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in Boston. The company has raised more than $900 million in venture capital, ships to 56 countries, and operates in six languages.
