Peter Bodlund Chosen to Lead Ascensia Diabetes Care

There’s a new tenant in Ascensia Diabetes Care’s corner office.

The global diabetes care company and PHC Holdings Corporation subsidiary has appointed Peter Bodlund as president and CEO to succeed Koichiro Sato, who will remain as chief operating officer (COO) of PHC Group and head of PHC Group’s Diabetes Management business.

Bodlund has held senior leadership roles across global healthcare and life sciences organizations, most recently as COO of Ascensia Diabetes Care, where he has been closely involved in the company’s strategic priorities. He steps into the role as Ascensia delivers strong results in its diabetes management technology, including blood glucose monitoring systems. Bodlund also is a corporate officer of PHC Group.
