Android App Released for SoundHealth’s SONU Band

SoundHealth has launched the first-ever medical-grade Android app capable of transforming a selfie into computed tomography-accurate skeletal data for rhinitis treatment.

The SONU Band is the world’s first U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) De Novo authorized, artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled wearable medical device that uses sound-based therapy to relieve moderate to severe nasal congestion and allergy symptoms at home and without the need for drugs or sprays.

Built to work seamlessly with the band, the app leverages proprietary AI to analyze 3D facial scans in conjunction with symptom data and CT imaging to deliver precise, therapeutic-grade treatments for sinus and allergy-related conditions.

The SONU app scans the patient’s face using a smartphone and creates a digital map of his/her sinuses, calculating the optimal resonant frequencies. Following the initial one-time scan, the patient places the SONU Band around his/her head, turns it on and the band delivers customized frequencies.

The band opens airways naturally to reduce congestion and promote easy breathing, without drugs or steroids, and provides relief in 15 minutes.

SONU is the only FDA-approved device equivalent to or better than the leading nasal steroid spray, calming down symptoms of allergies, inflammation, and congestion.
