Boyd Biomedical has opened a new facility in Waltham, Mass. and has revealed a new divisional structure for the company.

The company’s divisions are now Design by Boyd, Build by Boyd, and Launch by Boyd. They offer an integrated “design, build, launch” growth platform for biomedical innovators.

Joseph Ting was hired as president of Design by Boyd, which operates out of the new Waltham, Mass. facility that the company moved into at the year’s start. This division offers medical device design and development services to those commercializing novel biomedical devices.

Build by Boyd will keep operating from its Lee, Mass. headquarters. The division is a medical device contract manufacturer with capabilities in stick-to-skin devices, in vitro diagnostics, single-use assemblies, device assemblies, and liquid media applications. The division is ISO 13485-certified and FDA registered as a medical device contract manufacturer.

Michael Fallone was appointed president of Launch by Boyd, which operates out of the company’s Boston facility. It is a strategy, creative services, and marketing agency for biomedical innovators.

“We’re excited to announce our new Design, Build, Launch divisional structure,” said Boyd Biomedical CEO Stephen Boyd. This is an important step as we continue our mission to provide the most valuable growth platform of commercialization services to biomedical innovators at any stage or scale.”
