Siemens Healthineers and Tower Health formed a ten-year partnership to improve on diagnostic and digital intelligence tools in Tower Health’s radiology, oncology, and cardiology departments.

The duo will target standardization and lifecycle management of Tower Health’s imaging equipment. Tower’s radiology, cardiology, and oncology departments will be upgraded to Siemens Healthineers’ CT, MRI, interventional radiology, and Varian radiation-oncology therapies.

This partnership also provides access to digital automation tools like Siemens’ algorithms to standardize clinical operations and simplify reporting, offer consistent cardiovascular imaging data, and help turn data and analytics into actionable insights.

“This partnership extends beyond merely upgrading equipment; it empowers Tower Health and our staff to uphold our dedication to clinical excellence and innovation, ensuring the delivery of smarter, faster, and more connected care to our patients and the communities we serve for years to come,” said Michael Stern, president and CEO of Tower Health. “We are proud to establish a strategic partnership with Siemens Healthineers, granting us access to state-of-the-art technology during the next decade. Such strategic partnerships are crucial for securing our enduring success, our dedication to pioneering advancements and our exceptional clinical standards. Together, we are building a stronger Tower Health.”

“Our collaboration with Tower Health presents a significant opportunity to support a major health system in our own community,” added John Kowal, president of the Americas at Varian, a Siemens Healthineers company. “By implementing advanced diagnostic imaging systems, technology solutions and Varian oncology therapies, Tower Health is making a significant investment in its hospitals and, ultimately, in enhancing patient care.”

Effective April 14, 2025, Kowal will become president and head of the Americas at Siemens Healthineers.
