Getinge has announced the first installation of its full Surgical Workflow portfolio in North America at UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital.

The new UT Health San Antonio facility will open its doors in December 2024. It has been designed to support a wide range of medical and surgical specialties and is equipped with advanced technologies to enhance surgical precision, improve efficiency, and ensure patient safety.

The installation includes the full spectrum of Getinge’s Surgical Workflows products, which includes Infection Control (washers, sterilizers, and ultrasonics), Surgical Workplaces (OR tables, surgical lights, ceiling supply units), and Digital Health solutions (Torin OR Management, Tegris OR Integration, and T-DOC Instrument Tracking).

“This project is a big leap forward in improving patient care”, said Stephane Le Roy, President of Getinge Surgical Workflows. “It demonstrates how combining the right technology with efficient workflows can make a real difference, making it easier for healthcare teams to do their jobs and providing better outcomes for patients.”

“We look forward to continuing to provide tailored solutions that effectively address the unique challenges faced by today’s hospitals,” said Patricia Fitch, President of Getinge North America.
