Diabetes Care Veteran Named Biosensor Marketing Director at Trinity Biotech

David Ouston's career spans 16 years in the glucose monitoring and diabetes health sectors.

David Ouston has joined Trinity Biotech plc as Biosensor Marketing Director. Ouston has a wealth of commercial experience driving the growth of glucose monitoring devices at large, established companies across global markets.
 
“We remain focused on our innovative, needle-free, reusable continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology as a key long-term growth driver for Trinity Biotech, and we are delighted to welcome David as a strategic appointment to our expanding team to help further this mission,” Trinity Biotech President/CEO John Gillard said. “His extensive global leadership experience in promotion and market access strategies for diabetes management devices and digital solutions will be a strong asset for Trinity Biotech as we prepare the roll out of our own CGM in rapidly growing diabetes and wellness markets.”
 
Ouston’s career spans 16 years in the glucose monitoring and diabetes health sectors, including global and EMEA regional marketing roles at Johnson & Johnson and LifeScan, where he led innovations in the OneTouch glucose monitoring portfolio. Previously, he worked in marketing positions at private healthcare provider Bupa, where he supported the promotion of their global healthcare brand.

Ouston earned a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from Brunel University in the United Kingdom.
