Perosphere Technologies Finds German Distribution Partner for its PoC Coagulator

CoRRect Medical GmbH has agreed to distribute Perosphere Technologies Inc.’s Point-of-Care (PoC) Coagulometer in Germany.
 
Targeting the PoC Coagulometer to the German market is logical, as the country’s annual anticoagulant prescription rates per 100,000 persons increased 135.8% between 2005 and 2016.¹ The PoC Coagulometer is a pharmacodynamic, reagent-free diagnostic instrument used at the point of care (bedside) to rapidly diagnose coagulation status and direct informed treatment decision-making in hospital settings and outpatient clinics. The Coagulometer can help clinicians better manage patients on anticoagulant therapies, including the direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs).
