Medtronic Names Linnea Burman SVP and President, Neurovascular Business

Medtronic has appointed Linnea Burman as SVP & President of the Neurovascular Business, part of the Neuroscience portfolio. Burman will be responsible for product development, commercial execution, portfolio strategy, and overall financial performance of the business.
 
Burman succeeds Dan Volz who was named SVP of Global Commercial Transformation, Medtronic.

Burman has over 20 years of experience managing global teams and has been tenured at Medtronic. Before this appointment, Burman served as VP & GM of Enabling Technologies, in the Medtronic Cranial and Spinal Technologies (CST) business. She helped establish CST by driving commercial growth strategies, innovative solutions, and a culture of collaboration. While at CST, Burman also founded the ET Enablers, a global employee group dedicated to enhancing two-way communication and collaboration.
 
Through the drug delivery business at Medtronic, Burman played a pivotal role in elevating market development for a post-stroke spasticity indication. She fostered close relationships with stroke neurologists, stroke associations, and patient advocacy groups.
