Personnel, product approvals, and a prime pecuniary deal proved most popular this past week on MPO’s website.

Huxley Medical, Medtronic, ASP, and Pentax Medical all drove significant site traffic by gaining FDA authorization for their respective products. The agency cleared Huxley Medical’s SANSA chest-worn sleep apnea diagnostic patch, an at-home diagnostic device with a single point of contact on the skin. It does not require additional attachments, wires, belts, or hoses; its sensors and materials measure blood oxygen saturation, EKG-derived heart rate, respiratory effort, chest movement, sleep staging, snoring, body position, and actigraphy.

Medtronic attracted cybervisitors with the FDA approval of its Simplera continuous glucose monitor (CGM) and a collaboration with Abbott. Simplera is the company’s first disposable, all-in-one CGM that is half the size of its prior devices. Its design simplifies insertion and wear, according to Medtronic, removing the need for overtape. The CGM is designed for use as part of a Smart MDI system with the InPen smart insulin pen and Simplera Sync sensor, is integrated with the MiniMed 780G system.

Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) and Pentax Medical scored well with site visitors too, thanks to the FDA clearance of the DEC duodenoscope (ED34-i10T2s) compatibility with the STERRAD 100NX Sterilizer’a Ultra GI cycle. The DEC duodenoscope (ED34-i10T2s) is the first GI endoscope compatible with hydrogen peroxide gas plasma sterilization.

Other top pageview producers included Amber Therapeutics, which closed a $100 million Series A funding round, and SeaStar Medical, which welcomed three new board members.
