PiSA Launches U.S. Sales Organization

PiSA USA is a U.S.-based commercial organization for PiSA Group and Centerpiece—businesses focused on the development, manufacturing, and sterilization of complex medical device and pharmaceutical products.

PiSA USA is supported by over 20,000 employees, 3,000,000 ft² of manufacturing & distribution operations, and three ethylene-oxide sterilization facilities in Guadalajara and Tijuana, Mexico. Its Centerpiece business unit opened a new world-class, high & low volume ethylene-oxide sterilization facility in Tijuana, Mexico earlier this year.

“We are excited to bring a sophisticated suite of advanced manufacturing and supply chain solutions to the U.S. medical device and pharmaceutical markets,” commented Matt Jordan, President of PiSA USA and CEO of Centerpiece.

The sales organization will also consist of a technical product development and manufacturing transfer team, led by chief technology officer Sergio Medina.

The company also announced the addition of two industry leaders to the company.
 
Marie O’Malley joins PiSA USA as Vice President of Commercial Operations, while Jerry O’Connor will lead all sales activities as Vice President of Business Development.
 
Marie O’Malley brings nearly 30 years of medical device OEM experience to PiSA USA, having most recently served as Senior Director of Supplier Outreach at Medtronic and Chair of MassMEDIC’s Board of Directors.
 
Jerry O’Connor is a leader in the medical device and combination product outsourcing industry, having most notably served as Director of North American Sales at Phillips-Medisize.
 
“We have recently integrated our contract manufacturing and ethylene-oxide sterilization businesses to function as the operational centerpiece of a medical device company and/or complex supply chain,” explained Jordan. “As we look forward, our sights are set on combination products and advanced manufacturing solutions.
