Nolato AB Finalizes Two North American Expansions

In response to its growing medical injection molding business, advanced manufacturing company Nolato AB is finalizing two expansions in North America.
 
Nolato GW and Nolato Contour, both leaders in plastic and silicone injection molding, have expanded to create space for multiple new programs Nolato is launching to support its steadily increasing medical business.
 
Nolato GW, formerly GW Plastics, recently completed a 3,000 ft² expansion of Class 8 cleanroom space for their silicone molding division, Nolato GW Silicones, in Royalton, VT. This addition is capable of housing up to 8-10 new silicone injection molding machines. This is the fourth expansion of Nolato GW Silicones since its inception in 2008 and comes on the heels of 30,000 ft² expansion of Nolato GW’s Manufacturing and Technology Center in Royalton, VT last year.
 
At the same time, Nolato Contour is completing a 60,000 ft² expansion in Baldwin, WI. This additional space for cleanroom manufacturing and warehousing will support their growing diagnostic and pharmaceutical programs. Nolato Contour plans to add 75 jobs over the next three years.
 
Nolato Contour’s excellence in medical manufacturing has led to rapid growth, and the company has previously expanded their current facility twice, including 43,000 ft² and 27,000 ft² expansions for added cleanrooms, whiterooms, and warehousing space.
 
In addition to Nolato’s injection molding capabilities, the company also specializes in precision LSR and thermoplastic mold design-and-build. Their in-house tooling expertise allows for the building of high cavitation, fully automated, tight tolerance LSR and thermoplastic molds designed for manufacturing at a lower cost with world-class lead times.
