Showing signs of a healthy medtech industry, M&A dominated MPO’s headlines last week. Hong-Kong based minimally invasive device manufacturer Quasar Engineering nabbed Creganna Medical’s Singapore business. Global medtech manufacturer Philips scooped Vesper Medical and its advanced venous stent portfolio. Consumer, aerospace, and industrial products manufacturer TriMas gained capabilities for custom drug delivery, diagnostics, and orthopedics components and devices via its purchase of Omega Plastics.
