Emöke Sogenbits Named Chairwoman of the Board of Raumedic Estonia AS

Emöke Sogenbits has been appointed as chairwoman of the Board of Raumedic Estonia AS, a subsidiary of the German Raumedic Group.
 
Sogenbits has served in numerous positions of leadership in operations over the course of her long international career, including as president, Cluster Baltics at the HANZA Group. In 2019 she was decorated as “Woman of the Year” in Estonia for her contributions to society.
 
Sogenbits commented, “I’m excited to bring my decades-long experience and expertise in operations to a growing international business in the field of medical technology. The Raumedic site in Tallinn is currently being significantly expanded to meet the increasing demand for our products. Guiding this growth is a challenging task that requires a clear strategy and decisive leadership. That’s what I will fully focus on.”
 
Raumedic Estonia AS specializes in the assembly of medical technology products and is equipped with corresponding cleanroom production space, which is currently being expanded to approximately 1,000 square meters by the end of 2023.
 
Stefan Seuferling, CEO of the German Raumedic AG, and chairman of Supervisory Board of Raumedic Estonia AS, is optimistic about the future of the Estonian site, not least due to recent developments: “Growth always requires a leader with a clear strategic vision.
