A familiar face is once again at the helm of Endoluxe Inc.

Founder Neal Patel, M.D., has returned as CEO to fill the void left by Devon Bream, who left the firm to join GE Healthcare as president and general manager, Invasive Cardiology Image Guided Therapies. Before his return, Patel was Endoluxe’s chief technology officer (CTO) and ran his clinical practice, Advanced Urology of Georgia.

“I am incredibly excited to return to my role as CEO of Endoluxe,” said Patel, who founded Endoluxe in 2014 with Dr. Phil Zhao. “The company is positioned for strong growth and expansion into single-use disposable endoscopes and AI-augmented visualization for current clinical needs. We will build upon the many partnerships we have created in the past several years and make the Endoluxe Visualization System the camera of choice for endoscopic surgeons in the US and around the world.”

Endoluxe executives plan to meet with several venture capital firms to discuss additional fundraising, and with industry leaders to collaborate further partnerships. Endoluxe continues to work closely with Dornier MedTech as its distribution partner for the Endoluxe Visualization System.

Endoluxe is a U.S.-based endoscopic video imaging organization that distributes its Endoluxe Orb globally. The company is focused on reducing costs of legacy video platforms, enhancing procedure adoption, and improving patient outcomes through better therapy application. Endoluxe is committed to being a vendor-agnostic platform that allows customers to utilize their existing investment in traditional scopes and supporting devices while taking advantage of future technological advancements using its portable, integrated and feature-laden platform at a quarter of the cost of legacy products.
