Pilgrim’s Automated Validation Speeds Implementation and Accuracy

Pilgrim Quality Solutions, a global provider of enterprise quality management software and services for the life sciences, has announced the availability of its proprietary SmartSolve Automated Validation tool. The tool speeds delivery of validation script execution for Pilgrim SmartSolve applications and is available as a managed service.
 
Life sciences organizations must validate any equipment, software or system that directly or indirectly affects their product. Pilgrim’s SmartSolve Automated Validation tool automates the execution of validation scripts for operational qualification (OQ) to expedite the validation process.
 
“As opposed to the more traditional manual method, Pilgrim’s automated validation services significantly reduce the cost—both time and resources—to validate the SmartSolve suite of products,” said Stanley Curtis, chief technology officer and senior vice president of software engineering at Pilgrim Quality Solutions. “Our automated approach also enhances the accuracy and quality of the validation process, and its resulting artifacts.”
 
The SmartSolve Automated Validation tool outputs the actual test results alongside the script’s expected results and a system-captured screenshot for each step. These audit-ready artifacts enable clients to move to production with their quality management processes more quickly.
 
Pilgrim has used Automated Validation internally for more than two years. It debuted externally before customers and analysts at Fusion 2016, Pilgrim’s global customer conference. The positive customer response created the priority to validate the tool itself, and it is offered as a managed service to speed client implementations.
