Logic PD Hires Director of Quality Management

Logic PD, a product lifecycle solutions company for the digital world, has hired Tim Becker to lead the company’s quality assurance efforts. As director of quality management, Becker is responsible for quality process and quality assurance activities of the organization.
 
A seasoned med-tech industry veteran with extensive quality experience, Becker’s hiring reflects Logic PD’s commitment to leading clients through all phases of the product lifecycle. Reporting to Lisa Walker, chief operating officer at Logic PD, Becker will lead and drive compliance activities across the company, including quality system procedures and metric implementation and management.

His ‘client-side’ perspective from his time at companies such as Telefex Medical OEM, St. Jude Medical and Boston Scientific as well as med-tech startups will provide our clients with a perspective that is absent from most organizations.”
 
Prior to joining Logic PD, Becker was quality manager at Telefex Medical OEM. While there, he was a principle in plant leadership and drove quality culture change and customer advocacy.
 
Previously, he held manager positions in design assurance and quality assurance at Greatbatch Medical. During his five years at Greatbatch Medical, Becker was instrumental in consolidating multiple quality systems and creating a design assurance organization. While at St. Jude Medical as product development manager, he managed the successful implementation of a structured development process across two business units. Earlier in his career, he spent time at Boston Scientific Corp., Phillips Circuit Assembly and Unysis.
 
Becker received his degree in management from Concordia University–St. Paul after attending a quality control program at Northeast Technical College.
