Thermoformed Packaging Company Flexpak Expands in Tijuana Area

Company partners with TriMedEx to aid in expansion.

Phoenix, Ariz.-based Flexpak Corporation has entered an exclusive sakes and distribution agreement for thermoformed product with TriMedEx LLC. The partnership will help Flexpak expand its business in the Tijuana, Mexico medical device market, which has been growing rapidly.

“TriMedEx gives Flexpak excellent sales coverage, strategic support, Mexico based warehousing and
supply chain management expertise to service and to compete in this growth market,” said president of Flexpak Steve Murray. “Tom Flannery (founder/partner of TriMedEx) and his team have set‐up and run successful multi‐million dollar medical device operations in this market and will provide Flexpak with a powerful presence in the region.”

Flexpak has capabilities in the design, development and manufacturing of sterile and non‐sterile
barrier thermoformed packaging for the medical device industry. Besides Tijuana, the partnership with TriMedEx will also help Flexpak reach the San Diego area of southern California. The ultimate value proposition of warehousing in Tijuana is to reduce inventory, space requirements and transit lead times for Flexpak’s customers.
