Zimmer Holdings Names New CEO, CFO

Zimmer Holdings hires a new CEO and CFO.

Orthopedics device maker Zimmer Holdings Inc. named new chief executive and chief financial officers on Tuesday.

David Dvorak, who had been group president and chief legal officer, was named president and CEO and also appointed to the board, effective immediately.

Dvorak succeeds Ray Elliott, who would remain chairman of the board until at least November.

The company also named James Crines as its chief financial officer. Crines replaces Sam Leno, who told the company that he is accepting a position at Boston Scientific Corp.
