Hauppauge, New York, July 19, 2011: Adding to its broad product line of liquid level sensors for difficult environments, Cosense has launched its Sentio line of redesigned miniature liquid level detectors for applications up to 125° C (257°F), ideally suited for fluid level control sensor OEM applications. The sensor was redesigned for greater reliability utilizing pulse-echo technology that mitigates viscosity issues and allows for a reduction in the product’s number of component parts. With no moving parts, high quality stainless steel housing, easy installation and its CE Approval, the product line has utilization in a broad range of equipment, tanks, reservoirs and pipe lines.
“The redesign of the Sentio Miniature High Temperature Series, with its applicability for tight spaces and high temperatures, gives it numerous functionality advantages over electro optical switches and simple mechanical float switches,” according to Bill Allhusen, Cosense’s Engineering Manager. “Potential OEM applications were a key consideration in the cost effective redesign of the product line.”
Cosense is a leading manufacturer of ultrasonic instrumentation to provide fully engineered solutions to fluid management problems. The Company’s complete line of liquid level sensors and air-bubble/particle detectors are engineered to consistently deliver reliable performance in difficult environments of extreme temperatures, varying pressures and challenging fluids. Since its establishment in 1989, the Cosense engineering team has developed expertise in numerous industries including: semiconductor, medical sciences, industrial automation, aerospace, chemical process, environmental sciences, food and beverage, and metrology. Its extensive expertise in the design, development and manufacturing of ultrasonic sensor solutions supports the Company’s commitment to solving difficult fluid management applications for its customers.
