Hauppauge, New York, June 17, 2011: Adding to its broad product line of liquid level sensors for the semiconductor industry, Cosense has launched a line of products for the detection and micromeasurement of ultra pure chemical fluids. These ultrasonic products have no moving parts which can induce impurities in the liquid causing false readings, down time for maintenance and a complete loss of product. The additional feature of a thermo-couple sensor to monitor temperature avoids the costs of welding a thermo-couple well in the ampoule. The product line is applicable to a wide range of applications in the semiconductor chemical vapor deposition process.
“The Cosense SL 900 Series of Ultrasonic Liquid Level Detectors has numerous functionality advantages over simple mechanical float switches,” according to Bill Allhusen, Cosense’s Engineering Manager. “Special product features include no particle contamination, up to eight alarm points, functioning independent of a liquid’s density and viscosity, and with greater measuring accuracy.”
Cosense is a leading manufacturer of ultrasonic instrumentation to provide fully engineered solutions to fluid management problems. The Company’s complete line of liquid level sensors and air-bubble/particle detectors are engineered to consistently deliver reliable performance in difficult environments of extreme temperatures, varying pressures and challenging fluids. Since its establishment in 1989, the Cosense engineering team has developed expertise in numerous industries including: semiconductor, medical sciences, industrial automation, aerospace, chemical process, environmental sciences, food and beverage, and metrology. Its extensive expertise in the design, development and manufacturing of ultrasonic sensorsolutions supports the Company’s commitment to solving difficult fluid management applications for its customers.
