imtmedical Launches Intensive Care Ventilator for the MRI Environment

By imtmedical | 11.12.17

The bellavista 1000 mr is ideal for ventilating all patient groups, from neonates to adults.

The bellavista 1000 mr is the latest ventilator of imtmedical. It allows continuation of lung-protective ventilation strategy for patients without any limitations, even in a MRI environment. This grants unlimited freedom in intra-hospital transfers.

Safe Due to MR-Guard Module
For the time in the MRI scanner, the bellavista 1000 mr is equipped with an MR-Guard module. The quick attachment module with 360-degree MR-Guard magnetic field strength indicator and audible alarm shows the optimal working range of the bellavista 1000 mr and alerts users as soon as the ventilator fails to keep the necessary distance from the MRI scanner. This guarantees the usual high quality and reliability of the bellavista ventilators even in the environment of MRI devices, which is essential for safe ventilation. Furthermore, a battery time of at least four hours gives a wide scope of action for in-hospital transfers.

A Solution for Every Patient
The bellavista 1000 mr is ideal for ventilating all patient groups, from neonates to adults. Users are offered various particularly gentle invasive and non-invasive ventilation modes as well as therapy forms such as the High Flow Oxygen Therapy. With the bellavista 1000 mr operators can also use our demanded Adaptive Ventilation Mode (AVM) without restriction: This smart ventilation mode adapts breath by breath to the patient's needs, what considerably reduces the number of ventilation settings and thus relieves the user, of work. Our customizable software also allows users to decide how they are going to use bellavista, thus giving practical and unique added value.
