Austin, Texas-based Apollo Endosurgery Inc., which makes minimally invasive endoscopic surgical products for bariatric and gastrointestinal procedures, has appointed Stefanie Cavanaugh as its new chief financial officer. Cavanaugh brings to Apollo Endosurgery more than 30 years of financial management experience. She will be reporting to Apollo Endosurgery’s CEO, Todd Newton.

Stefanie’s broad range of experience makes her an excellent addition to the company and I know she will be an asset for Apollo as we further grow and develop.”
Prior to joining Apollo, Cavanaugh was senior vice president of finance for Harden Healthcare from 2010 until its sale to Gentiva Health Services in 2014. She began her career with Ernst & Young before serving in executive management positions at The Cancer Therapy and Research Center, Encore Medical Corp., and Solis Women’s Health. Cavanaugh is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor of business administration in accounting and finance from the University of Texas in Austin.
