Enterprise quality and compliance management solutions provider Pilgrim Software Inc. has expanded its top-level executive team. The company recently hired Stanley Curtis as chief technology officer (CTO) and senior vice president of software engineering.
Curtis has more than 20 years of experience overseeing the development of enterprise software and hardware solutions for diverse high-tech companies, including those in healthcare-related industries. He was hired to help Pilgrim Software expand its presence in the life sciences and contract services industries, according to top executives.
Prior to joining Pilgrim, Curtis led the development of enterprise clinical and revenue cycle software for Homecare and Hospice as vice president of development at McKesson Provider Technologies in Springfield, Mo. He also was vice president of engineering for Kronos, a global leader in workforce management solutions, based in Chelmsford, Mass. Most recently, Curtis was senior vice president of product development at MTS Medication Technologies in St. Petersburg, Fla., where he developed automated medication adherence systems for institutional and retail pharmacies. Stanley holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va., and attended the AEA/Stanford Executive Institute at Stanford University.
Former CTO Risal, who led Pilgrim from its founding, will remain on the company’s 10-member board.
