Devon Medical Names New President
Devon Medical Inc. has a new leader. The extriCARE portable Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) System creator has named Chip Ross as its president.
Ross brings more than 20 years of experience in the wound care and medical device arenas to his new position. He most recently spearheaded the joint venture of two international advanced wound care companies that led to the creation of Hollister Wound Care. Ross has held senior level positions at medical device and wound care giants including Medline Industries Inc. and ConvaTec Inc., and served as senior vice president of sales and marketing at Byram Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest diversified providers of medical supplies for chronically ill patients. Ross also founded Ascent Healthcare, a national strategic healthcare consulting firm, where he led senior level consulting engagements ranging from interim CEO roles to strategic business development, manufacturing, operations, sales, and marketing functions.

Ross has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Widener University in Chester, Pa.
