The KUKA Innovation Award, a competition for robotics from all over the world, has been an established institution since 2014. For its 6th edition, the spotlight has been turned to medical robotics for the first time. All participants used an LBR Med robotic component from KUKA and a 3D vision system from Roboception. The I&Bot team from France focused on using the LBR Med to perform automatic and personalized back massages.
