Prototron Circuits has acquired a MX 2-24 drill machine from Schmoll Maschinen Drill for the firm's Tucson, Arizona facility. It is the company's third Schmoll drill.
"We already have installed two of them in our Redmond (Wash.) facility and this will be our first in Tucson," said Dave Ryder, president of Prototron. "These units are exactly what we need when it comes to helping us provide our customers with the very highest quality printed circuits boards. At Prototron we sell speed and the Schmoll drills have proven to be highly efficient and reliable. The fact that this is our third one is a testament to how good we feel they are.”
Prototron Circuits, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, bought their latest Schmoll drill from Burkle North America Inc., Schmoll’s North American distributor.
