The Director is responsible for strategic planning and operational leadership for the collective Mayo Clinic Stores across the enterprise. Essential functions include business strategy, employee management, inventory analysis, insurance billing, product coordination, visual merchandising, and cost management. Much of this work is self-directed or identified by developing a strong understanding of GBS business strategy in alignment with Mayo Clinic retail store and e-commerce strategies. Individuals must have demonstrated business acumen, medical product experience, ability to develop and execute business strategy and expense management tactics, ability to prioritize strategic and operational initiatives, and make recommendations for organizational change.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is required; Master’s degree preferred. 5 or more years of experience in medical products, e-Commerce, retail, or similar industries. Comprehensive knowledge and experience in general business administration, budgeting, organizational development, and process improvement in a high growth/high change environment. Experience in healthcare and medical products preferred.
