As a leading manufacturer of vascular grafts, endovascular and interventional devices, surgical meshes for hernia repair, and sutures, we are looking for a Product Specialist to join our Peripheral Vascular business.This role can be based in Flagstaff or Phoenix, AZ; Flagstaff based location is preferred.

Job Description
The successful candidate will identify and understand clinical and market needs globally, develop winning product strategies, and ensure fitness for use of our peripheral vascular surgical product portfolio, including the GORE® PROPATEN® Vascular Graft. This portfolio of products is global in scope and maintains a market leadership position. You will share responsibilities with another product specialist, engaging and interacting with teams comprising a variety of disciplines, including: engineering, manufacturing, biological sciences, clinical medicine, regulatory, legal, business, marketing, and sales.

Responsibilities include:
- Focusing on device fitness for use – ensuring device safety and efficacy
- Influencing manufacturing and operations on commercially released products to ensure product supply and quality
- Ensuring compliance with global regulations and rapid resolution of product surveillance issues
- Developing and leading product training for physician customers and field sales associates
- Developing and executing on global product launches
- Developing winning product strategies
- Developing project plans and influencing teams with focus and urgency to achieve technical, regulatory, clinical, manufacturing, and sales milestones

Qualifications
Required Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science
- Additional degree in business, marketing, or finance, OR a minimum of 2 years product management experience
- Demonstrated success integrating and influencing teams
- Passion for driving commercial product strategies in competitive markets
- Ability to travel extensively (50%), including international travel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to:
- read and interpret clinical publications and clinical data
- build strong relationships with physicians
- provide technical/clinical support to field sales associates and physicians
- work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable Job Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MS, RN, or PhD) in engineering, science, or medical related field
- 3+ years of experience in commercial product management in the medical device or pharmaceutical field
- Understanding of conducting business in global healthcare market strongly preferred
- Experience in the surgical treatment of cardiovascular disease, including aortic disease, peripheral arterial disease, or cardiac disease
- Knowledge of regulations such as GLP, GMP, ISO 9000 and other domestic and international regulatory requirements
