This week's pageview champion was an online exclusive about cleaning validation changes embedded within ANSI/AAMI ST98:2022 involving simulated-use cycling, test method controls, and test results interpretations. The new standard requires simulated-use cycles be completed before performing a cleaning validation, and it includes additional test method controls that were not previously specified in TIR30—namely, a positive sample control and a negative device control.
