Nonin Medical is revamping its Board of Directors.
The company recently appointed five new members to its board. The new directors bring a diverse and unique set of experiences, along with a passion for growth and innovation in the medical device and healthcare sectors. Together, they will provide Nonin with strategic guidance and support the company's continued growth.
The new board members are:

Al-Siddiq is a serial entrepreneur, a former investment advisor, a corporate strategy expert, and an innovative technologist. He has held several high-level design positions at IBM, AMD, and Intel. Al-Siddiq also has vast experience leading various groups through his board experience and executive roles within startups, mid-sized companies, and non-profits. He earned a dual bachelor's degree in computer engineering and economics, a master's degree in computer engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and an MBA and doctorate in business administration from Henley Business School.
Betterley is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience in public and private technology companies. Most recently, Betterley was CFO of Cardiovascular Systems Inc., where he helped raise more than $200 million in financing, growing annual revenues to over $200 million, and achieving a market capitalization of more than $1 billion. Before Cardiovascular Systems, Betterley was a senior executive in several organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, including Cray Research Inc., Diametrics Medical Inc., and Plato Learning.
Dillow is a strategic consultant to private equity and investors who have an interest in medical device, medical diagnostics, and infection prevention markets. She served for more than nine years on the Board of Trustees of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses. Dillow currently serves on Regions Hospital Board of DIrectors. Previously, Dillow was vice president of Global Healthcare Corporate Accounts for Ecolab, where she led the company's Global Corporate Accounts teams. Before joining Ecolab, Dillow led 3M's new global business venture in Track and Trace healthcare applications. Dillow is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and has authored one book, five patents, and 23 peer-reviewed publications in the fields of chemical engineering, smart biomaterials, and targeted drug delivery. Dillow graduated suma cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Centre College, earned her doctorate in chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and completed a post-doc at the University of Minnesota.
Gillund is a transformational board leader and global human resources executive optimizing organizational success through strategic oversight of organizational, compensation, and talent planning initiatives aligned with business strategy. Gillund serves as a board member and chair of the human resources and compensation committees for Allina Health System and Stratacor/Delta Dental of Minnesota. She also serves on the Integrated Planning and Operations and Governance and Nominating committees for Allina, and the Audit and Risk Management and Executive committees for Stratacor. Gillund created the human resources functions at Cardiovascular Systems Inc. C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc., leading culture definition and transformation, achieving subsequent double-digit growth. Gillund earned a bachelor of arts degree in international relations and a master of arts degree in industrial relations from the University of Minnesota. She is an advisory board member for the university.
Prior to his current position at Cardinal Health, Rajalingam led the company's Medical selling organization. He joined Cardinal Health after serving as vice president and general manager of the Vascular Access business unit. Before Smith Medical, he was vice president of Global Marketing for Medtronic Peripheral Vascular. Rajalingam earned his bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering and economics from Duke University and his MBA from Stanford University. He previously served on the board of the American College of Phlebology Foundation and volunteered as a Year Up mentor.
With healthcare technology playing a major role in the management of the global pandemic, the Nonin leadership team recognized the need for a new board of directors to help the company address rapidly changing market needs and meet the demands of providers, payors, and other audiences using health-driven digital and data solutions. Phil Isaacson will continue in his board role.
