SonoScape has earned U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for its flagship HD-550 video endoscopy system for gastrointestinal (GI) diagnosis.
HD-550 can be paired with a 4-LED light source that supports 1080p definition for multi-spectrum and multi-mode imaging. Chromoendoscopy SFI (spectral focused imaging) and VIST (versatile intelligent staining technology) light modes boost vascular and mucosal color contrast to reveal more details in the GI tract, which may help doctors detect, demarcate, and characterize more lesions.
The endoscopy system has been available outside the U.S. since 2019. By 2021, HD-550 had been installed in almost 40 countries. SonoScape is the third best-selling brand in China.
