SxanPro, a supply management technology company, has established a Board of Directors with key industry leaders after a round of funding. The funding has infused the company with needed capital to continue its rapid expansion of services that help hospitals identify and monetize excess supplies and capital.
Erik Tivin, a recognized leader in hospital liquidations and surplus medical equipment sales, has been appointed board chairman. Tivin founded the surplus medical equipment industry with General Asset Recovery in 1995 and has continued to lead the growth of the industry, latest with Centurion Service Group, which was sold to TRIMEDX in 2020. Twin’s 30 years of experience and industry network will serve to directly support and accelerate SxanPro’s growth.
Other board members include Rick Ferreira and Jeff Eardley. Ferreira is a healthcare leader, visionary, and entrepreneur with a passion for reducing the cost of healthcare delivery. Ferreira currently serves as CEO of Innovative Health, a medical device reprocessing company and is an operating partner at 1315 Capital as well as a managing partner at Alliance Healthcare Partners.
Eardley is a healthcare leader with 18 years of experience in medical device sales and marketing, leading cross disciplinary teams in sales strategy improvement and execution.
“SxanPro has grown rapidly, both in terms customers and in terms of its technology solutions. Ashlea Souffrou, SxanPro president and founder, is a strong leader with a passion for helping hospitals reduce waste and recover dollars,” said Tivin. “The company is well positioned to play a major role in healthcare supply chain, and I am excited to provide direction and support in this endeavor.”
SxanPro empowers facilities to realize excess supply value with a simple technology that quickly generates complete excess supply transparency. This replaces the manual process, reduces waste, and frees monies for the facility. The SxanPro technology is being built into a full excess supply solution, through the integration of analytics as well as a marketplace that enables simpler and faster recovery of monies from excess equipment and supplies.
“SxanPro has helped hospitals reduce waste in healthcare, and we have seen great success with our services”, said Souffrou. “The Board of Directors is made up of thought leaders that have challenged the healthcare supply chain status quo and will help take SxanPro to the next level. I am excited to work with the board to navigate the company and its mission.”
SxanPro is a healthcare inventory services company that provides mobile inventory capture solutions to hospitals in order to accurately and digitally capture and manage medical supply in terms of lot numbers, expiration dates, serial numbers, and more. This enables the hospital to easily track and manage inventory without cumbersome manual routines in order to gain control, reduce waste, and free up resources.
