IRADIMED Corporation said its Board of Directors has appointed Roger Susi to resume his duties as the company’s president and CEO after the departure of Leslie McDonnell, who separated from the firm. IRADIMED executives did not disclose a reason for McDonnell's "separation."
“I look forward to resuming as the company’s president and CEO and would like to thank Ms. McDonnell for her contributions during her tenure,” said Susi. “I remain optimistic about our future and am excited to lead IRADIMED through its next stages of growth,” said Susi.
McDonnell was unanimously appointed to succeed Susi as president and CEO in late July 2019. Susi stepped down as president and CEO on Aug. 19, 2019, after leading the company since its founding 27 years ago but remained board chairman and assumed the new position of chief technology officer. McDonnell was also elected to the Board of Directors effective Aug. 19, 2019.
Under Mr. Susi’s leadership, Iradimed achieved many milestones:
McDonnell was a healthcare business executive with extensive global experience in medical devices, supplies and equipment. Prior to her appointment as iRadimed’s president and CEO, McDonnell served as vice president and general manager of the Newborn Care business unit at Natus Medical. Prior to joining Natus Medical, she was global business vice president for the Critical & Chronic Care Solutions Division of 3M Healthcare. McDonnell also held senior leadership positions at Medtronic in corporate M&A, business development, new therapy and product development, and marketing and business management.
