West-Tech Materials and Diablo Sales & Marketing have entered into a definitive agreement to join forces. With 62 combined years serving the medical device market, the merger will form “a powerhouse providing extensive product and technology resources to the medical device design engineer,” according to the companies.
Rick Campo, who started West-Tech Materials 28 years ago, and Ari Kettunen, who started Diablo Sales & Marketing 34 years ago, are combing their companies to form a synergy of complimentary manufacturers that will expand on each company’s current geographical coverage and provide medical device design engineers with an array of tools and services. With the merger, the West-Tech Materials territory is expanded into the Northwest, Rocky Mountain states, Texas and Gulf coast.
“We strive to be creative problem solvers. Our multifaceted approach delivers efficient material and component solutions, ranging from design and product development to manufacturing. We welcome the opportunity to work with design professionals to provide solutions for their engineering and technology needs,” Campo said.
Kettunen, now director of medical products marketing at West-Tech Materials added, “The combination of West-Tech and Diablo is a pivotal moment in our journey to lead our industry as an invaluable partner for our customers. Together, we will create a leading ingredients and solutions provider with a broader set of capabilities to meet our customers’ evolving needs.”
